The Fair Lawn Recreation Department in cooperation with the Holiday Celebrations Committee announces a Father’s Day Card contest for all children grades K through 5. Each child will be required to make up their own specialized card for their father or relevant guardian. All cards must include a cover, an inside personal greeting stating three reasons why your dad is the best, and a back cover. The back cover must include contestants name, grade, school and telephone number.
CATEGORY 1 - Grades K and 1
Winner receives a $25.00 bank check. Father receives a special prize.
CATEGORY 2 - Grades 2 and 3
Winner receives a $25.00 bank check. Father receives a special prize.
CATEGORY 3 - Grades 4 and 5
Winner receives a $25.00 bank check. Father receives a special prize.
Deadline for cards is Thursday, June 14, 2012!!!
Please drop cards off at the Fair Lawn Recreation Department located at 10-10 20th Street. All winners will be notified on Friday, June 15, 2012.Contestants are encouraged to use any creative materials including crayons, markers, and construction paper, oak tag, and cutouts in designing their special “Father’s Day Card”.
If you are not notified as the winner, you can pick up your card on Friday, June 15, 2012 between 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
