1) Halloween festivities abound in the fine borough of Fair Lawn Friday, including:

3 p.m. - Forrest School Halloween Carnivale at John A. Forrest Elementary School

7 p.m.Haunted Library at Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library

7 p.m.Halloween bash at Lyncrest School

8 p.m.Halloween Dance Party and Costume Contest at 7-19 Fair Lawn Ave.

2) The FLHS Girls' Lacrosse Beefsteak/Tricky Tray fundraiser is Friday at 7 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Athletic Club. Tickets are $35.

3) The Old Library Theater Presents: “Spring Awakening” at 8 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Community Center & Youth Center. Tickets are $18.

4) The Fall Classic. It all comes down to tonight's game between the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals to decide the 2011 World Series Champion. Game starts at 8:05 p.m. on FOX. Who did you pick to win in our original World Series poll back when the playoffs started?
