5 Things Friday: Rescue Squad Blood Drive

1) Fair Lawn Rescue is hosting a Community Blood Drive on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 pm at the Rescue Squad headquarters. All successful donors will be placed in a drawing for a gift certificate to Daniella's Track Side Grille of Fair Lawn. There will be pasta samples from Track Side Grille, giveaways, and emergency preparedness handouts available.

2) Fair Lawn Football Association has a Beefsteak Fundraiser Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The fundraiser will be held at the Knights of Columbus West Bergen, 16-16 Maple Ave. Tickets are $40 per person.

3) American Legion Post 171 has its bi-weekly meeting at 17-08 River Road on Friday at 8 p.m.

4) Fair Lawn High School's Football team plays at Clifton Friday at 7 p.m. The Cutters are still in search of their first win this season.

5) The Fair Lawn Senior Center is offering blood pressure screenings from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday.
