1) The Department of Public Works' leaf pick up is set to begin Monday, after being delayed due to debris cleanup from the snowstorm.
Visit the borough's website for the original leaf collection schedule, and add two weeks to the dates listed for the updated schedule. For more information, contact DPW at 201‐794‐5326, 201‐794‐5304 or dpw@fairlawn.org.
2) There's a Planning Board Work Session and Regular Meeting Monday in Room 201 of Borough Hall. Work session starts at 7 p.m., followed by the regular meetering at 7:30 p.m.
3) Parents, coaches and athletes looking for information on elbow, arm and shoulder injuries can check out a free symposium Monday night titled, "Injuries of the Overhead Athlete," at 7 p.m at the Marriott at Glen Pointe, located at 100 Frank W. Burr Boulevard in Teaneck. Four doctors who specialize in these types of injuries will speak.
4) The Fair Lawn High School National Honor Society will be at the Library after school Monday at 3:30 p.m. to help students from grades kindergarten and up with their homework.
5) The Senior Center offers a Tai Chi Class at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
