5 Things Thursday: Mayor Speaks at FLJC

Today's top Fair Lawn events and tips

1) Mayor Lisa Swain will speak at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B'nai Israel on Thursday at 8 p.m., as a guest of the Men's Progress Club.  She'll speak about town issues.

2) The River Road Improvement Corporation has its monthly meeting Thursday morning at 8 a.m. at Columbia Bank on River Road.

3) Senior Stretch is at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Senior Center.

4) The Fair Lawn High School Girls Soccer team travels to Ramapo for a matchup Thursday at 4:15. The Cutters (3-5-1) are coming off a 5-1 victory against Teaneck on Tuesday.

5) Check out the Patch Pick 'Em Thursday for our predictions on the upcoming weekend of NFL games. Here are our picks from last week. Stu and Steve both picked all three games correctly. Zak picked two out of three. That ain't bad, right?
