Driver Loses Control on Rain-Slick 208 North, Flips Car
A driver traveling northbound on Route 208 rolled over his vehicle near the the Fair Lawn-Glen Rock border Tuesday night, but suffered no serious injuries.
A driver traveling northbound on Route 208 Tuesday evening lost control of his vehicle due to the slick road conditions, struck the divider and flipped over, police said.
The driver escaped serious injury, but was transported to the hospital as a precaution after complaining of back pain, police said. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
Fair Lawn and Glen Rock police both responded to the accident, which occurred at about 8:30 p.m. between Maple Avenue and Harristown Road, near the Glen Rock border. The Fair Lawn Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Ambulance Corps also assisted at the scene.
