Fair Lawn 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Announced
The borough will hold its annual 9/11 Memorial Remembrance Ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 11 in the borough hall's council chambers.
Fair Lawn will mark the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by honoring the lives lost that day at Tuesday's council meeting.
The Memorial Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building's council chambers prior to the night's meeting.
Fair Lawn lost three residents on 9/11 --Susan Huie, Richard Rosenthal and Jennifer Kane. Frank Connor, a Fair Lawn man who died in a terrorist bombing at Fraunces Tavern in New York City in 1975, has also traditionally been honored at the borough's 9/11 ceremonies.
