Fair Lawn Art Association Exhibit at Pine Gallery
The Fair Lawn Art Association Members' art exhibit will be featured in the Pine Gallery at the Maurice M. Pine Public Library from January 8 – February 26, 2012.
The Members’ exhibit encompasses a variety of mediums – oil, acrylic, water color.
An artist’s reception will be held in the Pine Gallery Sunday, January 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
A small group of artists banded together in 1950 to form what is now the Fair Lawn Art Association. The association responded to a mutual interest in learning and creating art. The FLAA offers diversified classes and workshops to enable members, both children and adults, to explore their hidden talents and further develop their artistic skills. Through the years the association has attracted instructors who have been the association’s lifeblood and inspiration.
Specialized workshops, juried state-wide exhibitions, judged members’ shows and guest demonstrations encourage participation and growth in many aspects of art. The FLAA promotes art interest for Fair Lawn residents, as well as those of other communities.
