The Fair Lawn Green Team sponsored the 3rd Annual Fair Lawn Green Fair Tuesday, which brought together individuals and organizations from throughout the area to share with residents their knowledge of environmental sustainability and green living.
"We want to show residents how they can benefit at home from the same energy and money-saving green actions being implemented in our municipal offices and buildings," Green Team leader Joan Goldstein said in a statement.
"Inside Fair Lawn," host Wayne Robbins attended the Green Fair and spoke with a variety of exhibitors and attendees about their projects, including Pat Larocco, who showcased the home and yard features that won her family a Fair Lawn 2012 Going Green Award; recycling coordinator Ron Lottermann, who discussed the borough's latest recycling initiatives; and Green Team member Kimi Wei, who gave Wayne the scoop on rain barrels.
