FLHS Winter Guard Featured in USBands Video
USBands recently went behind the scenes with the Fair Lawn High School winter guard.
USBands, the national high school marching band circuit to which Fair Lawn belongs, recently filmed a behind the scenes video that features the school's winter guard team.
Winter guard captains Michelle Adoni and Lisa Raghubans narrate the video, which was shot at Fair Lawn High School and captures scenes from the guard's 2013 show, "I Need You Love," which follows a young couple through various stage of their relationship.
“The story is told by 10 students through use of experimental modern dance and incorporates props such as flags, sabers and rifles, choreographed to music performed by David Phelps,” director Patrick McLaughlin said. McLaughlin choreographed the show along with Jackie Echevarria and Patrick Wright, with help from Jeff Daniels.
