Gas Leak Closes Portion of River Road
A gas leak closed the northbound lane of River Road from Hopper Avenue to Fair Lawn Avenue Wednesday night.

A Public Service crew tore up a portion of River Road Wednesday night to repair a gas leak at the Fair Lawn Avenue intersection.
Work on the project, which a PSEG employee on scene said could last late into the night, began around 6 p.m., according to police.
As a result of the ongoing repairs, police have closed off River Road northbound from Hopper Avenue to Fair Lawn Avenue.
