Inside Fair Lawn: Blackwell St. Artists Opening Reception
A look at Sunday's opening reception for the new art exhibit at the Fair Lawn Library's Pine Gallery.
Originating at the Blackwell St. Center for the Arts founded in Dover, NJ, in 1983, the Blackwell St. Artists have since expanded into a non-proft group with a mission to "revitalize fine arts in NJ."
Beyond their original gallery, the group has staged exhibits at various New York City locations and came to the Fair Lawn Library on Sunday. The free exhibit will run until February 28.
The show, called "Opaline," features varied styles and mediums, from watercolor to photography. It premiered at a reception with the artists, who are interviewed in this edition of Inside Fair Lawn.

It's really wonderful, that we have such an outlet for Art here in Fair Lawn. Pine Gallery hosts a new exhibit almost every month - with the occasional music show, and other special events - you must check them out, and support them.
The videos above, are a three part presentation - each has an interview with two of the artists, where they discuss their work - check them all out, and go and enjoy their show.
