@FLMOM - Only four-year colleges are listed on the map. That's not to say that students attending BCC, a trade school or no college at all don't count. They just weren't included on this map. I will reach out to the district on Monday to see if they can provide the number of students attending community colleges.

there are MANY 2012 grads going to Bergen.....guess it doesn't "count".....shame on this article for not listing it. One does not have to go to a UNIVERSITY to be more scholarly than a community school. Trust me, when I hire new grads it makes NO difference where they went to college...that is the old way of thinking, Bergen is just as good/competitive as the choices listed in the article. With the economy failing and families choosing to go to community colleges, it makes more sense. Just letting you all know what the job screening is like in the year 2012. ;)

I think this only lists the 4 year schools, which Bergen isn't. Nothing wrong with Bergen for an associate's degree, but those students then have to transfer to another school if they want the bachelor's. Many of the four year schools, though, don't give an associates', which is the entry qualification for many jobs.

2/3's of the class went to a four year university? Is this true?
