Let Babe Ruth Be a New Addition to Your Team

The Bergen County Animal Shelter, located in Teterboro, always has many animals who are looking for a great home.

Full of life and full of gumption, Babe Ruth is pretty as can be. This female Pit Bull Terrier takes her walks seriously and will need a firm and confident leader who can provide her with proper guidance and training. Babe Ruth will make a wonderful companion, she just needs to be taught some basic obedience, manners and loose leash training. Because she is young, there is no doubt she will learn fairly quickly, but it will take a lot of patience and a lot of determination. A little on the confident side, Babe Ruth is pretty sure of herself and therefore will need a family who can give her a balanced lifestyle, where she is apart of the family and not in charge of it. Asia is a charming gal who the shelter says will undoubtedly take your breath away. She came in with another dog because her owners could no longer take care of her. This 1-year old 115-pound Central Asian Shepherd will surely need an experienced breed owner so Asia can be given the attention and exercise her breed requires. She loves giving and receiving lots of attention. Because she is extra large and young, mental and physical stimulation is necessary and a firm strong leader is recommended.
Sniper, a Central Asian Sheperd, came in to the shelter with another dog because his owners could not take care of him. This 1-year old 120 pound dog will surely need an experienced breed owner so he can be given the attention and exercise he needs. This handsome fellow needs a strong and firm leader. Lots of physical and mental stimulation is needed. His breed, Central Asian Shepherds are primarily used to guard livestock but they also make great companions.
Bo is a very friendly domestic short hair black and white cat. The shelter believes he is between 3 to 5-years old. He came to the shelter as a stray but they know he was a house cat because he has been neutered and is declawed. He will nestle in your arms but can tend to be a little shy too. He is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.
Climber, is a 2-year old super friendly cat who loves to get attention. He is up to date with shots and has tested negative for Feline Aids and Feline Leukemia.
