Muscle Maker Grill celebrating its grand opening on Saturday. 

The mayor performed a ceremonial ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and the new restaurant sold $1.99 wraps from 1 to 4 p.m., gave away t-shirts, bracelets, water bottles, backpacks and held a raffle for a bike.

Muscle Maker Grill, located at 14-29 River Road in the spot that previously housed Giovanni's Deli, is one of the fastest growing restaurant franchises in the country.

It serves protein shakes, fruit smoothies and an ample mix of salads, wraps and entrees that vary in style from Italian to Tex Mex to Asian with an abundance of vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The restaurant's hours are Monday - Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
