I've had near misses when making that same turn from Plaza road...it's very dark, and with the rain, at night, and if a person is wearing dark clothes..it's impossible to see anyone in the street.... an accident is always lurking.

The town might do well, by adding another street light to that area.

Most of the street lights have not been fixed since Sandy. Even our section of Radburn Rd (near High Street) is dark. Not sure what the town is thinking.

That's not the only problem. People putting on high beams and blinding you plus these new white lights with a blue tint.

Pedestrians and drivers alike need to be more careful. These folks coming off the train walk right into the street without looking and drivers should be vigilant about going slow. But neither will happen and more lights won't solve the problem.

I too have had a couple of near misses because of the lack of adequate lighting and drivers failing to heed the pedestrian crossing signs..

Unfortunately, drivers in Fair Lawn, unlike those in Ridgewood, almost always ignore the crosswalks and pedestrian crossing signs. There seems to be little police enforcement of the speed limit or pedestrain crosswalks on Plaza Road.

This is one good reason why the housing project across the road from this unfortunate accident should not be built. With hundreds more cars in the mix during rush hour, motorists will seek detours on this very road and others nearby, streets which are not all have sidewalks either partially or completely, and where residents walk. This is only unfortunately going to increase the number of accidents.

I urge the Radburn Association to carefully consider this project in light of the harm and damage to citizens and residents of Radburn and Fair Lawn, that will occur do to the traffic increase that this project will add.
