Police Seek Witnesses to June 27 Broadway Crash
The night time accident at the intersection of Broadway and Fair Lawn Parkway resulted in one car being flipped and mangled, and it's driver being taken to the hospital.
Police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about a June 27 accident at the intersection of Broadway and Fair Lawn Parkway that sent one driver to the hospital with a minor head injury.
Around 9 p.m. on June 27, a black Honda CR-V headed westbound on Broadway collided with a southbound white Lexus RX at the Fair Lawn Parkway intersection and rolled over, police said. Neither driver was seriously injured, but the CR-V's driver, who suffered a minor head injury, was stabilized, strapped to a gurney and taken to Hackensack University Medical Center as a precaution.
The rollover accident closed both of Broadway's westbound lanes at 32nd Street/Fair Lawn Parkway for about a half-hour and attracted dozens of onlookers who stood perched on either side of the highway surveying the wreck.
Neither driver has been issued a summons because both have told police they entered the intersection on a green light, police said.
