Senior Speaker

There will be a speaker at the Fair Lawn Senior Center, 11-05 Gardiner Rd., discussing the topic “Should I send flowers?” Time is 11 a.m. Talk is open to all borough senior citizens/ Call 201-796-1191 to confirm.

Crafts for Ages 3-5

Held at the Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library, 10-01 Fair Lawn Ave., from 10:30-11 a.m. This summer craft program is on Tuesday mornings for six weeks. Call 201-796-3400 to register.

Book Buddies

Held at the Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library, 10-01 Fair Lawn Ave., at 11:30 a.m. Simple stories, songs, finger plays, and crafts for 2-3 year olds with an adult partner. Registration required. Visit http://fairlawn.bccls.org/kidspage.html

Cosmos Club of Fair Lawn

Meeting is scheduled for 8-9 p.m. at 33-02 Morlot Ave. Cosmos Club is a Social Club for men of Italian descent. The club sponsors and supports a variety of other organizations throughout town via donations. Annual events include the Columbus Day Art Contest with the Fair Lawn Recreation Dept., Memorial Day Parade, sponsorship of a Little League team and many other activities. Call 201-796-3201 for information. Cost of annual membership dues is $100 plus $45 for annual dinner.

Super Stories

Held at theHeld at the Maurice M. Pine Free Public Library, 10-01 Fair Lawn Ave., from 7:30–8:15 p.m. Stories, games & crafts will be included in this super program for grades k-7.
