What Would You Improve in Saddle Brook in 2013?
If you could make a New Year's resolution for the town, what would it be?
More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family and many say they will try to save money.
As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do here in Saddle Brook to make it an even better place to live?
There's been a lot of talk about increasing access to recreation facilities (for both sports and the arts), increasing the number of officers on the police force and mitigating frequent flooding problems.

Get rid of the election signs. they are so obnoxious. Get rid of old politicians that don't know when to walk away...

Put a limit on number of times/years council and mayor can be elected. This way you don't have to worry about health benefits since no one will be there long enough! 2 terms and OUT, works for president of the US, why not mayors and council members?

garbage and recylcling containers should be enforced to be placed in front of individuals residential area not in front of or on the borderline of next doors property line, there was an ordinance of at least six feet of space between the property lines. Also construction trucks with double wheels over 3/4 ton should not be allowed to park in the residential area, strict ordinance should be enforced. Residents in the area should bag or put their leaves into the containers to be picked up by recyling, not rake everything to the street, on windy days all those leaves ends up on someone elses property and expects next door neighbor to clean up their mess. If the rules and regulations are not followed, summonses should be given. Fair Lawn is a nice town to live, let us keep it clean and be respectful.
