While these are some really good latest cars, most of them may be out of budget of a common person. Since I have to strive really hard to make a living, I cannot afford to spend more than 10 grand for a car. In such a situation, sites like http://www.automotix.net/carshotline.html are a blessing since they house used cars well within my budget with more than 30 dealers putting up cars on offer.   more ›

Bisque Cafe Benefits from BIC's Sign and Awning Grant

The Bisque Cafe & Grill, located at 30-08 Broadway, recently received a new sign and awning through the Broadway Improvement Corporation's Sign and Awning grant program.

Broadway's Bisque Café & Grill is standing out with an eye-catching new sign and awning, thanks to the Broadway Improvement Corporation. The restaurant received a $500 matching grant through the BIC's Sign and Awning Grant Program, which is available to businesses located in Fair Lawn’s Broadway Special Improvement District. “Through this program, distinctive signs for new businesses have been added and old, faded, and in some cases damaged or unsightly signs and awnings have been replaced with more attractive and affordable new ones,” BIC president Bob Beshlian said.  “Local businesses need every competitive edge they can get, and an appealing storefront can be a major factor in their success.” The BIC’s professional staff and volunteer …

5 Cars: Fast and Furious Like Vin Diesel

If you prefer diesel-powered cars, this is the 5 Cars for you.

"When you grow up you'll play with diesel instead of gas!" That's a phrase I have seen tossed around a lot on online car discussion boards. It appears those who drive diesel-fueled vehicles are sold on the concept.  Going diesel has pros and cons for drivers: In the negative column, diesel fuel is more expensive than conventional gasoline. Fair Lawn Retro Fitness Featured on Undercover Boss

A contemptuous employee of Retro Fitness in Fair Lawn featured prominently on Friday's episode of the CBS television show, "Undercover Boss."

Even the zero enrollment fee and two months free that Retro Fitness in Fair Lawn is currently offering new members might be a tough sell after prospective customers watched Friday night's episode of "Undercover Boss." The CBS reality television series that sends disguised senior executives undercover as entry-level workers in their own companies visited the Fair Lawn Retro location with CEO Eric Casaburi last month for an episode about the fitness center franchise. Casaburi, who dressed in a shaggy brown wig and dyed beard while posing as new hire Barry Goshe, was less than thrilled with Fair Lawn Retro Front Desk Associate Jacqueline Colucci, whom the show describes as "the worst employee he's ever seen." While showing Casaburi the lay of…
