DESCRIPTION:The Garage Theatre Group&rsquo\;s summer program is designed 
 to spark a lifelong appreciation of theater by encouraging young people 
 to participate in all aspects of play production\, GTG enables youth to 
 develop their voices\, bodies and imaginations\; develop the skills need
 ed to enjoy performing and develop self-confidence to explore their crea
 tive possibilities. The value of performing arts in education lies in th
 e skills needed for both: listening\, communicating\, discipline and ima
 gination. The pleasure for the young participants lies in the response f
 rom an audience. By providing a strong curriculum\, GTG reinforces the v
 alue of these skills in young people and strengthens their self-confiden
 ce by giving them a moment to shine in their community.\nWelcomes kids o
 f all ages and all skill and experience levels.\nEncourages the developm
 ent of imagination and creativity in a non-competitive\, constructive en
 vironment\nNurtures a love for theater and the performing arts so that s
 tudents grow up not only to be artists but also lifelong theatergoers an
 d arts patrons\n&nbsp\;Introduces students to many aspects of theater pr
 oduction\, including stagecraft\, playwriting\, movement\, design\, etc.
 \n&nbsp\;Expands students' knowledge of theatrical traditions and storie
 s from cultures around the world\n&nbsp\;The Garage Theatre Groups Ultim
 ate summer includes workshops in Acting\, Voice\, and Movement. Producti
 ons at the end of each session. Students work on ALL ASPECTS of producti
 ons. Weekly trips to N.Y.C. SHOWS\, Late Nights! All in our newly renova
 ted professional theatre. Our 19th season of outstanding Youth Theatre. 
 THERE ARE MANY IMITATORS\, BUT THERE IS ONLY 1 GARAGE\nThis amazing Thea
 tre Arts Program combines education\, practicality\, entertainment\, and
  recreation\, all taught by The Garage&rsquo\;s professional staff\, und
