DESCRIPTION:Over a course of two days we will provide athletes of all age
 s and abilities the opportunity to learn the basics of rowing. Athletes 
 are welcome to sign up for one\, two or more sessions scheduled through 
 out the summer. After completion of the Introductory class\, participant
 s are encouraged to join our Junior Program to further their technical s
 kills and understanding of the sport of rowing. The goal of these classe
 s are to provide a safe and fun environment where novices can learn abou
 t the basics of rowing.\nA session will consist of one Saturday and Sund
 ay morning. Training will occur both on the water in rowing shells and o
 ff the water on rowing machines. Participates will learn the basic rowin
 g terminology\, how to use the rowing equipment\, safety rules and preca
 utions\, as well as the fundamentals of the rowing stroke and boat mecha
