Shabbat Morning Service at Sephardic Center
More About Sephardic Center of Fair Lawn
The Sephardic Center began in 2005 as a small group of Israelis and Hebrew speakers meeting for services in a member's home, before the group grew large enough to first rent space in the basement of another synagogue, Young Israel of Fair Lawn, and eventually build its own synagogue.
Now serving over 30 families, the congregation also offers religious classes during the evening hours for men, women, and children. The Sephardic Center aims to help meet the spiritual needs of Israelis discovering their Jewish identities while in America, and to assist members who have decided to observe Sabbath for the first time.
