Fair Lawn Council Candidate Forum Thursday

Four candidates are seeking two seats on the council.

Fair Lawn residents can meet the four candidates for council and hear them speak about various issues during a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters Thursday evening.

The event starts at 8 p.m. in the council chambers at the municipal building on Fair Lawn Avenue.

The candidates for council this year include Democrat Cristina Cutrone, Republican Daniel Dunay, Democrat Joan Goldstein and Republican Amy Lefkowitz.

Questions to the candidates will be presented by moderator Barbara King and panelists Stuart Herrmann, a resident active with the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce, and Zak Koeske, the former editor of the Fair Lawn-Saddle Brook Patch and current editor of the Hoboken Patch.

Residents can also submit questions in person at the forum until 8:30 p.m. Questions will be screened by League members before they are presented to the candidates.
