Author to Speak at Fair Lawn Jewish Center

Rabbi David Baum's book "The Non-Orthodox Jew's Guide to Orthodox Jews," is currently available at the Fair Lawn Jewish Center

Rabbi David Baum, author of "The Non-Orthodox Jew's Guide to Orthodox Jews," will speak Sunday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at the as part of the FLJC Sisterhood's annual Book/Author Event.

 Baum's book is geared toward non-Orthodox Jews who have an interest in Jewish history and philosophy. It offers unique insight into the Jewish birthright and the Torah with an all-encompassing view of the issues essential to an Orthodox Jew's life, including free will, the mitzvoth, marriage, prayer, morality and Israel.

An entrepreneur, philanthropist, ordained rabbi and graduate, Baum is active in both the for-profit and non-profit fields and many local and international charities.

For those interested in reading the book prior to the Feb. 26 event, “The Non-Orthodox Jew’s Guide to Orthodox Jews” is currently available for pick-up at the .

Event admission is $25, and includes the price of the book, full breakfast, author presentation and book signing.
