Art Garfunkel Performing in Fair Lawn

Folk singer Art Garfunkel is scheduled to perform "an intimate" concert at the Fair Lawn Community Center next month.

Only 170 tickets are available for the performance, which will include songs, anecdotes, prose and a unique audience Q&A session, according to borough officials. Doors will open at 7 p.m. September 28 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $40, plus service fees, and are available by visiting brownpapertickets.com and typing in "Art Garfunkel." 

Officials ask that attendees don't use any cameras, audio or video recording equipment, make sure their cell phones are off and use discretion if purchasing tickets for young children.

Also, according to a notice advertising the event, "by purchasing tickets, you are verifying that you do not intend to report the details of this event or submit a review of this event to any commercial media outlet of any kind."
