Fair Lawn Announces Theater Schedule For Remainder of Year

The New Vision Players will begin presenting their production of "Les Misérables" in the Fair Lawn Community Center Friday.

The Fair Lawn Community Center and George Frey Center For Arts and Recreation announced their schedule for the rest of the year Tuesday.

The New Vision Players will begin presenting their production of "Les Misérables" in the Fair Lawn Community Center Friday. They will perform the show at 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday and at the same times next week. Tickets are available on the players' website here.

"Being Filmy" will present "Qurbani" at 7 p.m. September 14. Call (347) 234-3080 for a free pass.

The 24th Annual Interstate Tap Show will be held September 29 at 1 p.m.

The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club will host North Sea Gas with special guests Lesl Harker & Friends October 5 at 8 p.m.

The Skyline Theatre Company will perform "Funny Girl" from October 11 to 13.

The Old Library Theatre will present "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" from October 25 to 27 and November 1 to 3.

The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club will host Alan Reid and Rob Van Sante with special guests Burning Bridget Cleary November 9 at 8 p.m.

The Knights of Pythias will hold "What’s It Worth," an evaluation event featuring appraisers with various specialties, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 10. The event will benefit the restoration of the Naugle House and aid the Benjamin N. Cardozo Lodge Charity Fund.

The Fair Lawn Non-Profit Community Center Committee will host "the brian show," a family trivia game fundraiser, at 7 p.m. November 21.

Tony Sands will present his Frank Sinatra tribute "It Was a Very Good Year" November 24 at 2 p.m.

The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club will host Anne Hills with special guests Joy Bennett & Chris Koldewey December 7 at 8 p.m.

Dance Designs Studio will present a winter holiday celebration December 8.

Ridgewood Irish Dance will present a Christmas show December 14.

Merc Reno will perform "Holiday & Hit Songs by Elvis" December 21 at 6:30 p.m. The event includes dinner, two acts and door prizes.
