Fair Lawn Resident Joining 'Orange County Choppers'

Evan Favaro is the owner of Speakeasy Motors in Paramus.

Fair Lawn resident Evan Favaro will be joining the cast of "Orange County Choppers" for the new series airing later this month, NJ.com reported.

Favaro, 23, is the owner of the Paramus-based custom motorcycle and hot rod shop Speakeasy Motors, an award-winning shop that expanded earlier this year. He'll be working as the creative director for Orange County Choppers under owner Paul Teutel Sr., according to the report.

In his audition tape (not recommended for those offended by profanity), Favaro explains that he's been working on custom bikes since he was in high school and says he's "pretty damn good at it."

Favaro also has some criticism of Orange County Choppers' work, saying the shop needed some young blood and new ideas.

"Age doesn't always reflect talent... I may be young, I haven't been doing it that long, but I've dedicated my life to doing this," Favaro said.
