Local Director Debuts Horror Thriller at Hoboken International Film Festival

Fair Lawn native Alan Del Tufo's "Eternal Damn Nation," premiered Sunday at the Hoboken International FIlm Festival in Middletown, N.Y.

Director Alan Del Tufo, a Fair Lawn native, premiered his first feature film Sunday night at the Hoboken International Film Festival in Middletown, N.Y.

"Eternal Damn Nation," is a horror thriller that follows a detective and his sidekick as they try to make sense of a rash of demonic possessions that sweep through a small town.

Del Tufo, who graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1993 and still lives in Bergen County, wrote, directed and produced the film, which was shot mostly in Fair Lawn.

It features all local New York and New Jersey actors and its soundtrack features music from local bands, including Dr. Chud, the former drummer for the legendary punk band, The Misfits.

In addition to being chosen for the Hoboken International Film Festival, "Eternal Damn Nation," will also be shown at the Fright Night Film Festival in Louisville, Ky., which runs from July 26 to July 28.
