Ringo Starr's 1964 Photo Features Fair Lawn Cutters

The students skipped school to see The Beatles at JFK Airport in 1964.

Former Beatle Ringo Starr's search for the identities of fans he photographed in 1964 has ended, and it turns out they were all Fair Lawn High School students skipping class, USA Today reported.

The photographed fans include driver Gary Van Deursen and passengers Suzanne Rayot, Arlene Norbe, Charlie Schwartz, Bob Toth and Matt Blender, who died in 2011, according to the report.

Starr shot the photo after The Beatles landed at JFK to be be greeted by a crowd of thousands. It was included in his photo book, appropriately titled "Photograph," which was published earlier this year.

Fair Lawn High School students have a long tradition of skipping class — it's how The Cutters got their name in 1943.

It looks like skipping school will also pay off for these cutters. The Record reported Monday that they'll get to meet Starr in Las Vegas next month. None of them could immediately be reached for comment.
