Dance Education Unlimited Opens on Fair Lawn Ave.
Members of the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce visited the studio for a grand opening celebration Wednesday.
A new Fair Lawn dance and exercise studio offers a wide variety of classes for different age groups.
Dance Education Unlimited recently opened at 7-15 Fair Lawn Ave., where they offer classes in Zumba, tumbling, yoga, tap, jazz, hip-hop and ballet, among others. They also host private parties. The class schedules for the Fair Lawn studio and their original location in Tenafly are available on their website.
The owners said they hoped to make it a place where people can have fun while getting healthy.
"We're super excited to be here, we're over the moon," co-owner Toni Drummond said. "It's a happy and vibrant place."
Omar Diaz, a co-owner, said he personally benefitted from the studio's classes. He lost more than 100 pounds — there are before and after photos of him on display — since he started taking Zumba classes two years ago. That was what led him to want to open his own studio, he said.
"We were really inspired to open something that will help the community," Drummond said.
