First Promenade Businesses to Open About April 1

The owners of the Fair Lawn Promenade have already signed several tenants for retail and office spaces.

Ten of the future tenants of the Fair Lawn Promenade development were recently announced by the property owner.

Starbucks, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Qdoba, Verizon Wireless, Cups Yogurt, European Wax Center, Massage Envy, Habit Burger, Noodles & Co. and TKL Research have all signed on for space in the mixed-use development, according to the Garden Commercial Properties website.

The first businesses are expected to open about April 1, according to Scott Loventhal, the director of development for Garden Homes Development and Garden Commercial Properties.

The Promenade is a 10-acre mixed residential, retail and office development currently under construction at the former Kodak property on Rt. 208 north., described as "an upscale town center environment" on Garden's website. Construction started in 2012.

About four retails spaces and two office suites are still available, Loventhal said.

Garden also plans to start taking applications for the 150 apartments in about a month, he said. The first units are also expected to be occupied by about April 1.

If all goes well, the development should be completely finished and occupied by the end of 2014, he said.
