Simon Property Group Appoints Property Manager to The Shops at Riverside

Simon Property Group, a leading global retail real estate company, recently appointed Andrew M. Morgenroth of Livingston, to the position of property manager at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack.

Morgenroth will utilize his asset management and retail real estate expertise to oversee The Shops at Riverside’s operations, local leasing, security, marketing and budget functions. As part of his new role, Morgenroth will also be responsible for forging mutually beneficial partnerships with the Hackensack-area business community as well as maintain positive retailer to landlord relations in an effort to further advance the initiatives of the center.     

Morgenroth brings a wealth of experience to his new assignment, having held various positions within Simon Property Group since 2006, most recently as director of operations at The Shops at Riverside where he maintained and managed a five-million-dollar property-operating budget, overseeing and coordinating the utilities, maintenance and custodial services. Prior to this, he served in a similar capacity at Livingston Mall. During his time there, Morgenroth was instrumental with coordinating details for the development of a new 400-seat food court, 28,000 square-foot retail addition and a $12 million interior and exterior renovation.

Before starting his career with Simon Property Group, Morgenroth worked as an inspector for Morgenroth Property Services, where he managed inspections of residential and commercial properties to ensure building code compliance and suitability for mortgage loan approval.

Morgenroth is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration.
