Project Ladybug's Annual Ladies Night Out event planned for May 23

Grab your girlfriends and slip on some fabulous shoes: It’s almost time for Project Ladybug’s annual Ladies Night Out.

The May 23 event, titled “Wine, Women & Shoes,” raises money for the Project Ladybug Fund at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, a 501C3 nonprofit started by Dina Manzo, former cast member of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey. The charity’s mission is to enrich the lives of children with life threatening conditions.

“Our job is to keep the children’s spirits lifted while they’re in treatment,” Manzo told Patch. “Anything and everything we can do to keep a smile on their face.”

As such, the organization has provided “wish” trips, purchased laptop computers for its children’s use in the hospital, provided life saving medication and much, much more.

The annual event at The Brownstone in Paterson will be taken to new heights this year with world-renowned vintners and designers from coast to coast. This unique strolling wine and food tasting plus boutique shopping experience, will include a glass slipper auction and a tricky-tray drawing for a few fabulous hours of fundraising, camaraderie and shopping.
