Fourth Graders Present Vision of a Beautiful Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn Beautification Poster Contest winners announced.

The Fair Lawn Property Maintenance Committee announced winners of its Beautification Poster Contest.

For the forth year, the committee asked fourth graders throughout the borough's school district, as well as at St. Anne's, to submit posters of how a beautiful Fair Lawn should look.

Through a $175 donation from the local chapter of the Knights of Pythias, the committee awarded prizes to the following borough children:

First Prize: Victoria Baula, St. Anne's School

Second Prize: Morgan Van Kruiningen, Westmoreland School

Third Prize: Hava Gazikova, Westmoreland School

"It is the committee's hope that these future leaders and visionaries will be left with an understanding that it is up to them to make their city a viable and beautiful place to live," said Mark Spindel, a member of the committee.
