"Community gardens are growing by leaps and bounds in towns all over the United States, and particularly right here in Bergen County," said committee chair Harriet Einschlag.
"These are gardens open to residents of the community where all are welcome to grow their own produce, share ideas and learn about gardening, educate school children on nutrition and caring for the environment, donating back to the community and even sharing pot luck picnics and dinners."
