A New Brunswick man, who aroused the suspicion of law enforcement officials after purchasing a one-way ticket in cash for a Lufthansa flight to Germany at Newark Liberty International Airport Monday, allegedly tried to board the flight with concealed razor blades in his carry-on luggage. 

Spc. Jonathan Batista, 22, was attacked, along with his unit, by enemy forces with small arms fire, according to the Department of Defense. 

Carmine Inteso, 46, appeared in federal court in Newark Tuesday afer being arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City Monday and charged with three counts of federal personal income tax evasion and three counts of failing to file federal personal income tax returns.
