Any word on when Ramapo and Townley, Ruskin and Rutgers and Ackerman Ave. will get their power back?...Ackerman was out a day before the rest of FL and still isn't back.

PSEG hasn't given out any specifics on locations in Fair Lawn, but I know they're working in town today (Sunday) and that Chandler Drive was just restored. There are bound to be isolated pockets that remain without power for days and it's certainly possible that those areas you mention could be among them. Do you know how those areas have fared historically with restoration?

Zak- Anyway you can find out why my part of town, West Amsterdam, got and lost power a few times during the recovery? We are still down.
Harvey Schwartz November 04, 2012 at 06:12 PM
I thought st Ann's would at least be restored not a trick in site on broadway to replace the transformers that are knocked out. So much for that
Walter Weglein November 04, 2012 at 06:25 PM
The only one I know for sure is Ruskin-Rutgers and they went for days without power after it was restored elsewhere ...
Walter Weglein November 04, 2012 at 06:35 PM
Zak, I meant after Irene...also, explanation for power going on and off is that PSEG is working in that area...
Anne November 04, 2012 at 06:41 PM
I just saw an updated list from PSE&G and Fair Lawn is not even on the list. I'm confused.
Zak Koeske November 04, 2012 at 06:46 PM
PSEG isn't realizing specific info like that to anyone at this point. Even the town officials know only as much as everyone else as to the PSEG's whereabouts, based on the latest restoration schedule. If you've been going up and down though, that likely is the result of them taking you down to restore other nearby circuits. Current estimates have them in town through Tuesday, so depending on where they are, it's possible that up and down fluctuation you've been experiencing could continue until then
Zak Koeske November 04, 2012 at 06:46 PM
"realizing" should say "releasing"
Zak Koeske November 04, 2012 at 06:48 PM
@Anne - It's on the list, but for some reason it's squished in with a couple other communities between Union and Essex Counties
