Dunay, Lefkowitz Win Fair Lawn Council Seats

The Republicans took both seats on the council, according to unofficial results.

Republican candidates won the two seats up for election on the Fair Lawn Council, according to unofficial results.

Daniel Dunay had 4,230 votes, Amy Lefkowitz received 4,188 votes, Joan Goldstein had 4,047 votes and Cristina Cutrone recieved 3,880 votes, according to the unofficial results.

"It's a good night for us and it's a good night for the people of Fair Lawn," Dunay said.

Lefkowitz and Dunay both said they wished to thank the voters who supported them and reiterated their pledge to keep John Cosgrove as mayor. They promised to keep taxes down while maintaining services and managing efficiently.

"I'm so happy for Dan and Amy," Cosgrove said. "They worked hard, and now they'll be helping me move Fair Lawn forward."
