Acclaimed Nora Ephron Play, "Love, Loss and What I Wore" Opens This Weekend

The Radburn Players’ fall production, Nora and Delia Ephron’s acclaimed Love, Loss & What I Wore, opens this weekend at the Radburn Association Grange Hall, 29-20 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn. Show dates are November 15, 16 ,17, 21, 22 and 23 at 8 pm each evening, except for Sunday, November 17, when show time is 2pm. Tickets can be purchased before each performance at $15 for adults ($10 for members) and $12 for students and seniors.

Directed by Amy Sellars and based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, Love, Loss & What I Wore offers a series of memorable, funny monologues and ensemble pieces covering women's relationships and wardrobes, and at times the interaction of the two, using the female wardrobe as a time capsule of a woman's life. The New York Times described the play as “a scrapbook of stories about unfortunate prom dresses, the traumatic lighting in fitting rooms, high heels, short skirts and the existential state of having nothing to wear.”

"Love, Loss and What I Wore is an endearing comedy interweaving love (and sometimes hatred) of fashion with poignant, life changing moments of women's lives,” says director Sellars. “With real stories from women around the US, this play can truly be dubbed 'the chick flick of theater', and is perfect for romantic ‘date night’ entertainment or a ‘girls night out.’"

Founded in 1930, The Radburn Players is one of the oldest continually operating theater groups in New Jersey. For more information, call (201) 873-5570 or visit www.radburnplayers.com.
