All Things Come to She Who Waits, Just Isn’t True
Jim Charette, sought-after author, speaker and consultant, will lead a workshop on the importance of asking and listening skills. Asking empowers us to create lives that are more fulfilled—yet it is one of the most underutilized tools we possess. The adage, “All things come to she who waits,” simply isn’t true. Waiting for others to give us what we want is like waiting for the rain to fill our swimming pools. Only by asking can we create the opportunities that can lead to greater satisfaction and success.
What You Will Learn:
--How to create significant opportunities by cultivating the art of asking
--The number one reason people don’t ask (and how to overcome it)
--Why better listening skills promote better asking skills
--How to use “No” as the start of a negotiation
--How asking better questions can build trust and productivity in the workplace—whether you’re the boss, employee or customer
--The single most powerful relationship question
Registration includes family-style dining in a private room. Begin your meal with a salad, followed by freshly made pasta topped with a signature home-made sauce, veggies and your choice of chicken or eggplant parmigiana.
