Hoboken City Challenge Obstacle Race - to Benefit Susan G. Komen North Jersey

The City Challenge Obstacle Race,
is a 4-mile obstacle course through the city of Hoboken that will feature more
than 15 obstacles including walls to get over, water jugs to carry up stairs, 20 lb rocks to carry in sand, ropes to climb, monkey bars, and
many more. Organizers invite athletes and  “non-athletes” of every level
to test their physical and mental limits—while helping to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.

Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer will be
there, she said, as a “Team Hoboken” member. “I look forward to participating
in the City Challenge on Team Hoboken along with Chief Blohm, Chief Falco, and
other city employees,” says Mayor Zimmer. “It's a fun opportunity to encourage
fitness in our community while raising money for a very important cause."

A portion of the proceeds from the City Challenge Obstacle
Race will benefit the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Affiliate, an organization
dedicated to combating breast cancer at every front. City Challenge will also be making a direct contribution to Komen North Jersey—participants,
spectators and others can make a donation during registration, or on-site at
the Race.
