Three Fair Lawn Families Recognized for Well-Kept Properties

The Fair Lawn Property Maintenance Committee presented awards to three borough families at the Jan. 29 council meeting.

The Property Maintenance Committee presented three Fair Lawn families awards Tuesday for their well-maintained homes.

Property Maintenance Committee member Jim Vanderbeck distributed this year's "House Beautiful" awards to Joseph and Rita Neary, 10-16 Campbell Road; Nancy Casapulla, 8-24 Fern Road; and Rigoberto and Angelika Nieves, 0-85 27th Street prior to this week's council meeting.

The award was created to recognize residents whose time and effort spent maintaining their properties enhances the beauty of Fair Lawn.

"We have always been most impressed with the care and creativity some residents have shown in developing their property and wondered how we could both congratulate and thank you for setting a fine example," Vanderbeck said.

How about a "worst Kept" property award ? instead of a plaque, a cash award to help clean up, and landscape the property. There are plenty here in Fair Lawn
