Watch: Ringo Starr Meets Fair Lawn Photo Subjects

Ringo Starr photographed six Fair Lawn High School students outside JFK Airport in 1964.

Five Fair Lawn High School grads finally got to meet Ringo Starr last weekend after a new book of photos by the former Beatle sparked a nationwide search for their identities.

Starr shot a photo of driver Gary Van Deursen and passengers Suzanne Rayot, Arlene Norbe, Charlie Schwartz, Bob Toth and Matt Blender, who died in 2011, when they skipped class to see The Beatles after they landed at JFK Airport in 1964.

"That photo became much bigger than I ever thought it would," Starr said during an interview with The Today Show. "I just put it in the book because it was a great shot."

The five living FLHS grads from the photo reunited in Las Vegas this weekend, where they got to meet Starr and watch him perform.

Starr told Today it was "far out" to meet them. You can watch the video above.
