are piecing together the details of a two-car collision Wednesday night at the intersection of Broadway and Fair Lawn Parkway that flipped one car and sent its driver to the hospital with a head injury.
A black Honda CR-V headed westbound on Broadway struck a southbound white Lexus RX at the Fair Lawn Parkway intersection around 9 p.m., and rolled over, police said. Neither driver was seriously injured, but the CR-V's driver, who suffered a minor head injury, was stabilized, strapped to a gurney and taken to the hospital as a precaution, police said.
Neither car had any passengers.
The rollover accident closed both of Broadway's westbound lanes at 32nd Street/Fair Lawn Parkway for about a half-hour and attracted dozens of onlookers who stood perched on either side of the highway surveying the wreck.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
