New Jersey State Police arrested a man in Saddle Brook Saturday who allegedly stabbed two men last week in Central Nyack, N.Y., lohud.com reported.

Joel Pointdujour, 24, of Haverstraw, N.Y., faces two charges of attempted murder for the incident which left one of the victims in critical condition and the other with a cut artery in his arm, according to the report.

Police told the Nyack-Piermont Patch last week that Pointdujour — nicknamed "The Beast" — committed the attack with a hunting knife outside the bar El Molino III. He was considered "armed and dangerous," police said.

Police tracked Poindujour and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Kaylyn Martucci of Stony Point, N.Y., to the Saddle Brook Holiday Inn, where both were arrested in the hotel's parking lot, NJ.com reported.

Martucci, who allegedy drove the getaway car, was charged with two felony counts of hindering prosecution.
