Pair Nabbed with Drugs, Cash, Knife, Cops Say

Police say the men had more than 100 pills and other drugs in their car.

Fair Lawn Police arrested two Paterson men Sunday night who allegedly had more than 100 pills in their car.

Police Officers Robert Manning, Michael Franco and Lt. Derek Bastinck found a "suspicious" car parked near the corner of Berdan Avenue and First Street at 7:43 p.m., according to Det. Sgt. Brian Metzler.

Inside the car were Rabah Rabah, 23, and Andaleeb Alkhales, 24. Police found 75 oxycontin and 39 zanax pills inside the car, as well as $1,237 in cash, other drugs and a knife in Rabah's waistband, Metzler said.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, two counts of possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park. Rabah was also charged with possession of a gravity knife with no lawful purpose.

The men were both being held on Bergen County Jail Monday on $30,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
