Man Accused of Relieving Himself in Dunkin' Donuts Lobby

Thomas Myers, of Paterson, was charged with lewdness Sunday after Saddle Brook police said he exposed himself and urinated on the floor of a township Dunkin' Donuts

A 75-year-old Paterson man was charged with lewdness after he allegedly exposed himself and urinated on the floor of the Pehle Avenue Dunkin' Donuts in Saddle Brook, police said.

Thomas Myers allegedly exposed his penis while other people were in plain view -- including a 10-year-old girl and her father -- and proceeded to micturate on the store floor despite there being a public restroom just feet away.

"It's one thing to not be able to make it to the bathroom in time and relieve yourself within your pants," Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler said. "It grossly crosses the line of decency and becomes perversion when you knowingly manipulate and expose your private part and urinate in an area like the lobby of a Dunkin' Donuts."

Myers was released on his own recognizance following the incident.

What, and the police let him go? This is insane. What perverted law in all the universe would allow someone like this to go back out in public? What do you think is going to happen? And Dunkun' Donuts-I hope this isn't part of a publicity stunt to gain more business, although nowadays who can tell.

PS-In Pennsylvania if you do this, you are put on the list of sex offenders, jail time and all the rest that goes with that. Good idea IMHO.
