Fair Lawn Fire Co. 4 has got a sleek and shiny new addition to its team.

Residents can come down and see it for themselves Saturday during a free unveiling ceremony to take place in Fair Lawn's Memorial Park from 1 to 5 p.m.

There will be music featuring area cover band Nerds as well as free hamburgers, hotdogs and refreshments. Beer is $5 as it comes with the station's commemorative mug.

Other fire departments across the area will be participating in a wetdown as they spray the new engine with their own fog nozzles. This very special occasion is open to the public and is a rare opportunity for participants to get up close and personal with the new truck.

Children are advised to wear bathing suits as you will get soaked!

Interested persons may contact Firefighter Jerry Jastrab at 201-803-7160 for more information.

Better yet, maybe they should leaver their apparatus home.

Yea so I've heard. It's the remaining pieces the governing body should worry about..
