Motorcyclist Injured in Route 80 Crash

A motorcyclist riding east on Route 80 through Saddle Brook lost control of his bike near the Route 4/Route 17 exit and suffered minor injuries after being ejected from his motorcycle.

A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday after he crashed his motorcycle on Route 80 in Saddle Brook and was ejected from the vehicle, state police said.

Police said the motorcyclist was traveling east on Route 80 in the right-hand express lane around 2:40 p.m. when he lost control and dumped his bike near the Route 4/Route 17 exit. 

The man, who suffered non life-threatening injuries to his extremities, was wearing a helmet, police said.
